How to use the Pokemon tier list maker
- Find a Pokémon. Search by name or Pokédex number, or filter by type.
- Drag it into a tier. On desktop, drag and drop; on mobile, tap the Pokémon and then tap a tier. Drop onto another Pokémon to place it before that one.
- Make the tiers yours. Click a label to rename it, recolor with 🎨, reorder with ▲ ▼, add rows with + Tier.
- Save and share. Save PNG downloads an image; Share link copies a URL that rebuilds your exact list.
Tier list ideas
- Best Gen 1 Pokémon overall: the classic debate, from Mewtwo and Dragonite to Magikarp.
- Favorite designs: forget stats and rank by looks.
- Best by type: filter to Water or Psychic and rank just that group. Check the type chart if you want to rank by matchups.
- Pokémon football draft: rank who you would take first in the Pokemon All 22 builder or a snake draft.
- Auto-battler picks: rank units for Kanto Tactics.
What S, A, B, C, D and F mean
Tier lists borrow letter grades: S is the elite top tier (from Japanese grading, often read as "special" or "superior"), A and B are strong and solid, C is average, D is weak and F is the bottom. You can rename them to anything, from numbers to jokes.
